Tarot Cards as a participatory design tool

We are presenting this new tool for the first time on October 25th, 2018 at UXLive, London's leading conference for UX training and development. During the session at UXLive, we will introduce the tool, based on Tarot cards, and the design process that went into creating it. We will share our thinking behind giving a modern meaning to the Major Arcanas and how we applied the storytelling methods behind the practice into a design tool. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to use and explore the tool themselves.

Developed by Hiveworks in partnership with Ilaria Scarpellini, Tarotelling can be used in many ways. In a workshop setting, it allows teams to leverage the knowledge of the participants in the room to arrive at an understanding of the people using a product or service and then map the insights into a ‘to-be’ (future) journey.

Contact us to find out more about how to use Tarotelling in a workshop and get access to the elements of the tool.
