Orange Homepoint is a multi-faceted device that acts as a digital connectivity hub for the home. It helps households share digital files, using Wi-Fi and wireless phone charging. Orange asked Hiveworks to bring all these different benefits to life using a single, engaging concept allowing customers to quickly acquire the information needed to make a purchase of the product. 

What did we do?

Hiveworks created a series of five 3D animated films that mirrored the Homepoint product’s features, visualising it as the floorplan of a family house.

The series used character driven animation and different scenarios, in different rooms to convey a complex set of technical features, such as digital sharing, downloading and charging needs.

What was the outcome?

The result was a film series that was entertaining, educational and memorable. The videos were delivered within a website with navigation inspired by the product’s features, so customers visiting the site could quickly learn the product’s features, identify the benefits and make a decision to purchase.
